The Annual Christmas Tree Lighting draws thousands of TCU Horned Frogs from across the region. To ensure you do not miss the excitement, we encourage visitors to consider arriving early in order to find a parking spot and get to the Campus Commons on time. After 5:00pm, guests may park in any lot on campus, including reserved. Please refrain from parking in Health Center, Hall Director, or 24-hour reserved spots. Please note that TCU’s clear bag policy will be in place and enforced for this event. Due to the large number of people and fireworks, pets are not permitted at this event.
Refreshments and Attractions
The annual TCU Tree Lighting wouldn’t be the same without Super Frog Santa! There will be two opportunities for photos with both Super Frog Santa as well as the real big guy from the North Pole. Photos are taken with your own phone or camera.
Free refreshments will be available while supplies last. If you are hungrier, there will be several food trucks on site at Frog Fountain selling dinner and snacks. There is a Chick-Fil-A, a coffee shop which serves Starbucks coffee and Market Square in the University Union. Information about these venues can be found by clicking here.
