Homecoming Student Competition

Each year, TCU student organizations are invited to participate in the Homecoming Student Competition. Through events such as banner painting, trivia, float design, and more, organizations have the opportunity to showcase their creativity and compete for the winning title. The Office of Student Activities invites student groups from across campus for a chance to engage in this longstanding campus tradition.

Homecoming FAQ

All registered Student Organizations, Residence Halls, Greek Organizations, and Student-Led Departmental Organizations in good standing with the university are invited to participate in the Homecoming Student Competition!

The 2026 Homecoming Theme is “All Roads Leads to TCU”. This year, TCU’s theme is all about honoring the journey that made Fort Worth our home. From our beginnings in Thorpe Spring, TX to an interim chapter in Waco, and finally finding our place in Fort Worth, TCU knows the power of a road trip. Today, Horned Frogs can be found across the globe, so wherever you go, no matter the distance, direction, or destination, you can travel with pride knowing that “All Roads Lead to TCU.”

Organizations are welcome to participate solo or partner with 1-2 additional organizations. However, organizations must observe a 3-year period before partnering with the same organization again.

A Homecoming Liaison serves as your organization’s primary point of contact with the Office of Student Activities for all Homecoming-related rules, deadlines, and events. Liaisons are required to attend two informational sessions during the fall semester.

Winners of the Homecoming Student Competition will be announced during the Homecoming Football Game!

Groups who are interested in participating in the parade can visit https://studentactivities.tcu.edu/homecoming-parade/ for more information. Please note, parade participation is limited to the TCU Community (TCU Alumni, Colleges, Departments, and Students).
